Super New Moon Spiritual Awakening
Earlier this afternoon the family baby, the cat I got my wife for Valentine’s day, disappeared. Scary stressful times were about to happen;
We had been doing some cleaning this afternoon, so doors were open, trash taken outside, and generally not watching doors where he could scoot out.
After I restored the vacuum back upstairs I started to call his name. “Puma!.. Hey Puma!”
No scurrying.
No meowing.
Nothing.
Dead silence. I let my wife know, “Hey I think the cat got out ? ”
She had been in the basement earlier and even out the basement door to the outside.
Well, we both started looking, calling his name, and then next thing you know she was out walking the neighborhood looking for him.
Went out of our garport and looked for him in the alley by the trash dumpsters.
[For those of you who have never heard that term “garport”, it’s quite popular here in the city of St Louis Missouri. It’s basically a roof and garage door over your carport. The sides are the privacy fences. I live in a row house btw.]
Back to the story…
One of our neighbors asked if we were looking for someone. My wife told them we were looking for our cat, named “Puma”.
Now the wife is getting really upset at this point. In fact, she is crying and being hysterical.
I continue to look in the same spots over and over again, but at the same time, I needed to get back at it. You know, driven as I am at times; forget about the emotional connections that make us all humans.
Finally, another effort to the basement and he is found! Yup, the cat never left the house, but he was laying in some gravel under the staircase.
Just like that gravel under the staircase, in the dark, many of you came to my email list in the dark. Lying in your pile of gravel.
But like I was earlier today trying to help my cat out from under the staircase; searching to help him.
